Signed to the legendary Alligator Records, that have racked up multiple Blues Music Award nominations, they have spent over two decades keeping the raw, unvarnished sound of a "flawless" (MOJO Magazine) mix of 1950s Chicago blues, Delta grit, and "bluesabilly" while infusing it with a sharp, contemporary edge.

Named the 2023 Blues Band of the Year by Blues Blast Music Magazine, they are masters of "Bluesabilly” a high-energy mix of Chicago blues and Memphis rockabilly that turns every show into a house-rocking party.

Meet the Kings:

Oscar Wilson (Vocals): A South Side Chicago native and 2025 inductee to the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame with a voice that harkens back to the golden age of Muddy Waters. One of the last classic Chicago blues vocalists in the world.

Joe Nosek (Harmonica & Vocals): The band's founder, 2025 Chicago Blues Hall of Fame inductee, and a "harmonica giant" known for his muscular, spirited harp playing.

Nathan James (Guitar): A world-renowned blues master whose resume includes recording and touring stints with Blues legends like Kim Wilson and James Harman.

Marty Dodson (Drums): One of the world's premier blues drummers who has toured and recorded with Kim Wilson, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Huey Lewis, James Cotton and Lazy Lester.

Troy Sandow (Upright & Electric Bass): One of the top old-school bassists (and harmonica players!) in the world today, Troy has toured and recorded with blues luminaries like James Harman, Lazy Lester, Kim Wilson & Billy Boy Arnold.

Queen Lee Kanehira (Piano): A boogie-woogie maestro who brings lightning-fast keys and authentic blues soul. The reigning Queen of classic Chicago blues piano.
